Common questions
How are overnight shifts handled?
If time out is earlier than time in, the calculator assumes the shift crossed midnight and adds 24 hours before computing the difference.
How is overtime calculated?
Weekly hours above your threshold are paid at the multiplier you set. The defaults are 40 hours and 1.5×, but both are editable because rules vary by region and contract.
Is anything saved or sent anywhere?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Refreshing the page clears it.
